Calendula "Pink Surprise".
This variety surprises with its large, double, golden-cream inflorescences with a unique pink hue.
Plant height is 40-60 cm. Inflorescence diameter is 6-10 cm.
The merits of this marigold are hard to overestimate: decorative inflorescences combined with abundance and long duration of flowering (from June until frost), unpretentiousness and cold resistance, making it an indispensable plant for decorating gardens, balconies, containers, and planters. It looks equally good both in solitary and small group plantings.
Cultivation.
Sowing: April - for seedlings for balcony planting, May - in open ground. 2-4 weeks after germination, thin out or transplant the plants to a distance of 20 cm apart.
Any garden soil is suitable for marigolds, in a sunny or semi-shaded location.
Care: regular watering, feeding. The first feeding is carried out a week after planting the seedlings or thinning, then feed every 10-14 days with a complex mineral fertilizer. To prolong flowering, remove faded inflorescences.
Flowering: from late June until frost.
Marigolds combine well with blue ageratum, delphinium, rudbeckia, and zinnia.

Calendula Pink Surprise Saialill

Calendula, garden marigold, marygold. Calendula officinalis L.

A real miracle in the world of plants with extraordinary colors!
The pure pink color for this plant is really a surprise...
Calendula is a cold-resistant and light-loving annual that prefers moderate watering and open sunny places (however, it also feels good with some shading).
To make the plant bushy, pinch the tops of young shoots.
